About Swim Stop
I opened the shop in 1998 with a staff of one (me!) in a tiny corner of Waterlooville Lesiure Centre, having run the club shop for Havant and Waterlooville Swimming Club (for whom my daughters swim), and realised how much there is to swimming and how difficult it is to find the right swimming equipment - swimwear, hats, goggles etc...
Over the last 10 years the shop has doubled in size and I have a staff of 11, all of whom are present and past swimmers and although they are all in their late teens they do understand swimming and its requirements. Our aim is that you will end up with the right sized suit - by leading brands like Speedo, TYR and Maru - and the correct accessories to enable you to enjoy swimming.
Swim Stop is proud to be the official sponsors of Hampshire ASA and the Portsmouth University Swim Team.
We supply the club shops of Portsmouth Northsea, Fareham Nomads, Hamble Aquatics, City of Southampton, Gosport Dolphins and Locks Heath and provide shops for the Hampshire County Championships, Sussex County Championships and at open meets at Portsmouth Northsea, Fareham Nomads, Brighton, City of Southampton, Havant & Waterlooville, Haslemere, Basingstoke, Dorking, Littlehampton and Hampshire Masters.
